When Rat's owners were there, Butch was real nice to Rat and his owners. But when they left... poor Rat had to run for his life.

That's because Butch was in love with Rat. Rat was a very straight dog who didn't like male dogs in return.[/color]

But Rat had no knowledge of Butch's real feelings. All he knew was that Butch was cruel and mean; so when the great husky came around while the owners were gone, it was time to slink under the sofa and stay put.

Rat screeched and bit Butch's ankle before dodging further back under the sofa. He wished that the owners would come home quick.
